Her story
A farm, a notebook
and a lot of geese
Grace is a fourth-generation farmer, which means she has spent a great deal of her life watching animals work out how to get along with each other. Some of them are better at it than others. The ones who are not tend to end up in the books.
Her stories are inspired by animals, nature, friendship and the belief that the lessons children learn today can help create a kinder world tomorrow. Every character started as something she actually watched happen in a field.
She writes for the age when children are working out how to be a friend, which is harder than it looks and rarely explained anywhere.
